The F8-B is a black-light version of the Zylight’s LED Fresnel. It offers a continuously adjustable beam angle of 16°-70° and a proprietary ultraviolet chip for black-light applications. The manufacturer says the light provides four times the fluorescent brightness of a traditional 400W Fresnel black-light at the same distance, but only draws about one quarter of the electrical power. It includes a patented focusing system and uses an 8” Schott glass lens. The unit collapses to 4” thick for transport and storage. It is also water-resistant (IP54 rating) and can be powered by a worldwide AC adapter or standard 14.4V camera battery. Like other models, the fixture features ZyLink wireless technology, making it linkable for simultaneous remote control and full DMX operation.
