At LDI2017, ER Productions set a Guinness World Record for Largest Laser Show on Saturday, November 18. The impressive display included 314 lasers, 13 tons of equipment, and 6.8 miles of cable. The ER Productions crew took 72 hours to set it up on AG Productions' mega-structure stage and two mobile stages from Apex Stages at LDI: Live Outside. An enormous 1,377 watts of laser power hit against a 328'x49' termination wall to ensure that no lasers affected aircraft at the nearby McCarran International Airport. An adjudicator from GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS was present to confirm the world record-breaking achievement.

ER’s Andrew Turner, who designed the show with Lawrence Wright, General Manager of ER Productions US, used a combination of ER’s proprietary lasers in the show, which included blue Burstbox fixtures, Beambursts, BB3s and Laserblades. The rig was completed with some of the company’s newly-launched fixtures, including Storm, Lynx and Kinekt units, which were brought to market in 2017. The show was controlled centrally from front-of-house using three Road Hog 4 consoles and Beyond laser software.
