Spend The Day With Jon Gottlieb

Sound designers attending LDI2006 in Las Vegas, October 20-22: don't miss the outstanding opportunity to spend the day, Sunday, October 22, with sound designer Jon Gottlieb, acting dean for sound design at CalArts. It's like a master class with one of today's leading sound designers for a wide variety of projects from theatre and film to theme park attractions.

Jon serves as resident sound designer for the Mark Taper Forum and the Ahmanson Theater in Los Angeles, and has been heard on and off Broadway, including Terence McNally's Tony award-winning Master Class (for which he received an LA Theater Ovation Award). Additional projects include Hughie, directed by Al Pacino; Enigma Variations, starring Donald Sutherland; Mathew Bourne's Cinderella (LADCC Award); A Midsummer Night's Dream directed by Sir Peter Hall; and Hedda Gabler with Annette Bening. Prior to his arrival at CalArts, he taught at both USC and UCLA, and created original sound effects and designs for two attractions at Walt Disney World.

Take the “Jon Sound” tour of the audio gear on the LDI show floor and the outdoor showcase of ET LIVE. Register today and make LDI a truly sound experience.
