The Platinum Spot 5R Pro has comparable output to a 575W fixture, while measuring half the size, consuming half as much energy, and offering twice as long lamp life, thanks to the Philips MSD Platinum lamp. Complete with gobos and effects like its predecessor, this fixture includes new features such as CMY color mixing, built-in zoom, pan/tilt lock, and an optional wireless DMX receiver. Also found on the Pro version are 22 gobos, three-facet rotating prism, motorized iris, variable frost filter, and motorized focus. Other new units to be added to the Platinum range will include the Platinum Spot 15R and Platinum Spot LED.
