The VLX™ Wash from Vari-Lite contains seven proprietary 120W RGBW LED chipsets that provide output three times the efficacy of comparable tungsten sources. With patents pending, the internal beam homogenization system creates smooth and natural color-mixing free of multicolor shadowing effects. The fixture has dynamic CRI adjustment and provides an adjustable color temperature range between 3,000K and 9,000K. Beam control is via a patented lens array for a range from 23° to 60°, and the entire zoom system can be removed for a fixed field angle of 22˚. The fixture produces 12,000 lumens with the zoom array attached and 13,500 lumens with it removed. Accessory mounting points are also included allowing the attachment of additional aftermarket accessories, such as top hats.
