LDI Entrenamiento took place last week in Mexico City at CIEC-WTC during the sound:check Xpo and saw a 40% increase in registration over its inaugural event in 2016, with speakers including designers Cory FitzGerald and Seth Jackson, as well as Mexican design teams from Cocolab and Kardia Producciones.

sound:check Xpo is a trade show and conference for the music and production industry in Mexico, and it includes exhibits for audio, video, lighting, DJs, musical instruments, staging, and services for the production professional. LDI partnered with the show last year for the first time to bring lighting and projection content to the conference.

“We are truly happy with the partnership we’ve developed with sound:check over the last two years, especially given the potential growth we see in Latin America," says LDI show manager Douglas Lugo. "We’ve already had many requests for more classes next year, and we’re looking at media server training, in addition to the new console training we started this year. Keep an eye out for even more offerings from LDI in 2018, and thanks to all our sponsors and speakers, who helped us hit it out of the park once again.”

Sponsors for LDI Entrenamiento included Musica Moderna, d3 technologies, Elation Professional, Kvant Lasers, MA Lighting, Showco,and CM-ET.
