LDI Announces Partnership with PLASA

LDI, the largest trade show and conference in the US focused on entertainment design and technology, has just announced a five-year partnership with PLASA, the international entertainment technology trade organization for companies supplying technologies and services to the event, entertainment and installation industries. This cooperation agreement spans the global entertainment and event industry and brings new opportunities to LDI, its attendees, and exhibitors. The purpose of the agreement is to expand the reach of both PLASA and LDI, and broaden training options for industry professionals.

PLASA’s international reach adds a broader global dimension to LDI. The Technical Standards Updates track, now from PLASA (formerly ESTA) is once again part of LDI's pro training lineup this year, giving LDI professional attendees the latest information on essential issues at the heart of the industry. PLASA will be able to share its technical updates with the industry at large and benefit from the additional US exposure for its trade show and association. By partnering with LDI, PLASA also adds its marketing strength to a successful North American event, which has been an industry leader since 1988.

The 2011 LDI Trade Show and Conference will take place in Orlando from October 24-30, 2011 and features more than 300 exhibitors in 1000+ booths. The professional training spans the gamut of attendees skills and interests and includes LDInstitute comprehensive technology training; the LDInnovation & Technology Conference with relevant classes in lighting, audio, production, projection, green technologies, and houses of worship; Backstage Orlando Tours; and the Live Design Projection Master Classes.
