ET Live Debuts at ETS-LDI 2004

LDI attendees will have a unique opportunity to view and listen to product demonstrations in a real world, outdoor concert environment at ET Live, which will take place adjacent to the Sands Expo Convention Center on Friday Oct. 22nd and Sat. Oct. 23rd. Each of the six stages will feature product demonstrations with either live or pre-recorded entertainment during the day, and live entertainment in the evenings in a “round robin” format with 30-minute intervals.

Each stage will have products on hand sponsored by the manufacturers. Among the sponsors for lighting are Lighthouse, Robe, Poll Sound, Elation Lighting, Screenworks/NEP, and more. The sponsors for audio include Meyer Sound, EAW, Digico, Mackie, QSC, Yamaha, Midas, Electro Voice, Nexo, McCauley Sound, Lab.Gruppen, and more. The production sponsors include Show Systems, Sound Image, and Pratt Sound. Among the staging sponsors are Stageline, Kleege, and Oasis.

Each of the stages will also have its own specially selected entertainment for ET Live: Stage A will feature Nashville singer/songwriter Teresa; Stage B will come alive with the jazz fusion sounds of the Papa Michael World Group; Stage C will feature special guests who will be working with renowned sound engineer Robert Scovill; Stage D will feature rock band Big Bad Zero, currently in the studio working on its latest CD after months of intense touring; Stage E will be unveiled at the show, so stay tuned; and Stage F will be your destination if you love jazz and blues as King B. and Queen B. take the stage.

ET Live will also be the location of the ETS-LDI Awards Ceremony, 6:15 p.m. Saturday October 23rd on Stage B, so be sure to applaud the winners of the 2004 ETS-LDI and ESTA Awards right after the exhibit hall closes, and then stay for “Let’s Rock,” a special industry party open to all exhibitors and attendees, featuring live music, food, a cash bar, and a wide ranging display of lighting, sound, and video technology.
