Teotihuacan

Through a team of investigators, storytellers, lighting design, programmers and engineers, we were able to build a night time experience inside the archeological site of Teotihuacan. We developed the technology to build a show that was non intrusive and that leaves no trace.

People arrive at dusk and receive an audio guide that will retell the story of Teotihuacan. As you walk down the avenue of the dead you can use the guide to see how the buildings were like more than 2000 years ago. You learn about the architecture and art of these great city as smart beacons recognize where you are and the interactive guide invites you to listen to different tracks depending of your surroundings.

Once you get to the Pyramid of the Moon and back, about 40 minutes to one hour, you sit in front of the Pyramid of the Sun. The experience ends with a mapping in the Pyramid that helps you learn more about our past through entertainment.

This project was successfully developed by the Ministry of Turism of the State of Mexico, The National Institute of Antropology and History and executed by AKE Arquitectos, LT&I and Cocolab.
