Sennheiser Appoints David McNutt

Sennheiser Electronic Corporation has announced that David McNutt will be responsible for all aspects of marketing and distribution to the installed sound channels. In his new role, McNutt will liaise between Sennheiser's U.S. headquarters, the factory, and the marketplace with regard to product development, distribution strategy, channel and marketing communications, and strategic growth initiatives. He will additionally work to establish and maintain strong relationships with the key channel influencers.

A veteran professional in the audio and video industry, McNutt has 35 years experience. His career has included radio broadcasting, advertising,
marketing, and business, and he has extensive experience with live sound engineering, product marketing for well-known manufacturers, audio system design and consultation, and fixed installation contracting. He has contributed a monthly "Down to Business" column to Sound & Communications magazine since 1998.

McNutt was previously president of db Integrated Systems (Chicago, Illinois), a company he co-founded in 2003 to provide and built the renowned audio system at Chicago's Millennium Park. Previous industry experience includes marketing positions at Crest Audio and EVI Audio (now Telex Communications). McNutt holds a Masters in Telecommunications from Indiana University and an MBA in Strategy and Marketing from the University of Chicago.
