White Light At PLASA 2005

White Light will show new products of which it is the exclusive UK distributor, as well as its own Digital Festoon System–a winner of a PLASA Award For Innovation at last year's show–plus, the company’s ever-popular on-stand bar.

The Digital Festoon System allows each lamp along a festoon's length to be individually dimmed without the aid of external dimmers. At the White Light stand (G25) a 2 sq. m. demonstration rig featuring a 27x27 square grid of bulbs (729 in total) will show the many possibilities offered when using the Digital Festoon System.

White Light will also be showing the new White Light /ETC Smart Touring Rack, a successor to the White Light/Arri 48-way touring racks. The new racks are designed for touring rigs that increasingly mix conventional and automated lighting. Each rack contains four 12-way modules, with each module either a 12-way ETC SmartPack dimmer module or a 12-way MCB power module. Ouput goes through a patch bay to 16 multicore outlets (either Socapex or Lectriflex).

White Light will also have on show Look Solutions’ new Unique II haze machine, the Orka, and the Tiny Fogger smoke machines; ELC’s Side Kick faderboard, and FocusHand and Focus Brain remote DMX control units; and Robert Juliat’s new Super Korrigan followspot, Lutin lanterns, and the Espion 2 DMX tester.
