SmartFade® ML (the ML is for “moving lights”) is suitable for small touring acts, schools, house of worship venues, industrials, and a variety of other applications. The console features capacity for up to 24 moving lights, an additional 48 intensity channels (dimmers), and the ability to patch to two complete universes of DMX (1,024 outputs). It also includes palettes, parameter “fan,” and built-in dynamic effects, and has a direct-access style of operation designed so students, volunteers, and non-technical staff do not require extensive training. Color-coded backlit keys allow operation without additional worklights. The keys and built-in LCDs also provide status feedback for the rig, without the need for an external monitor.
