The SGM X5 is a compact LED strobe light that can deliver similar output to conventional high wattage Xenon strobes at a fifth of the power, according to the manufacturer. The white strobe uses 3,000 LEDs, so 100 units require 300A. The unit is housed in a black aluminum chassis. It features 160° lenses; tilts from 0° to 180°; operates in 1, 3, or 4 DMX channel modes; and is setup via an OLED five-button graphic display. Other features include upgradeable software (via DMX); IP20 rating; standard Neutrik powerCON connectors, and standard 5-pin XLR DMX In/Out. Using the included bottom plate, the unit can sit on the floor or mount onto to 2" pipe via the fast-lock clamp. Power consumption is 360W with a standby draw of 6W. Power input is 120/240V AC, 50-60Hz with the highest output over 208V.
