Similar to the DFD LED600, the LED400 from Doug Fleenor Design is a power supply that distributes DMX and 24V power to LED fixtures. Primarily designed to power and control up to eight Philips Color Kinetics ColorBlast 12 LED fixtures, the IP67-rated unit can also be configured to operate other Philips CK fixtures. All connections feature pigtails rather than panel-mounted connectors, so they can be wrapped with tape. It also features the DFD DownShifter technology that shifts incoming DMX data and outputs the desired channels as channels 1, 2, and 3 (plus 4 and 5 in 5-channel mode). This allows all fixtures to be set to address “001,” while the power supply routes the DMX signals to the proper outputs. DownShifter mode can be disabled so DMX data passes through to every output unmodified.
