Seen at LDI: Robert Juliat's LED Profile Project

Robert Juliat demoed at LDI a prototype, thus far called the "LED Profile Project," that, in the next six to eight months, will become a full LED profile spotlight, based around a 600SX profile and the company’s double condenser optical system. With all the features of a hard edge framing spotlight, but with an LED source in place of a tungsten or arc source, the fixture is the first multi-source profile fixture with an interchangeable lamp compartment. Features include a double slot for iris and gobo, a slot for frost, dichroic, or color correction filter, and silent progressive ventilation. Color temps of 3,000K to 6,500K will be available, and with no need for a dimmer, operators can go from full to 0 almost instantly.
