Wings Vioso RX 2.0 is a software upgrade for AV Stumpfl media servers that features the new hot backup option. Users can now specify hot backup clients for multiple playout clients, whereby the hot backup gets all the information needed to replace the playout during playback. All necessary media files are also copied to the hot backup client. In the event of a playout client failure, the hot backup can then take over the playout client’s job without the need to edit IP addresses. avstumpfl.com
