Lighting, sound, production, and staging professionals will discover the latest trends and products for working in live entertainment venues at the Entertainment Technology Show-LDI 2005 at the Orange County Convention Center, Nov. 7-13.
Focus On Sound
The tradeshow continues to broaden and deepen its focus to reflect the trend towards convergence of technologies in the industry. This year, a further focus on live sound will include expanded audio education with seminars presented by Syn Aud Com, along with a full menu of Live Sound conference sessions and specialized audio classes for Worship Venues (sponsored by Technologies for Worship Magazine). Technologies for Worship Magazine will offer complimentary hands-on training in their "Hands-Up, Hands-On" sound mixing workshops.
ET-Live: Real-World Stage Demonstrations
Rounding out this year’s live sound focus is ET Live, an opportunity to view and listen to product demonstrations in a real-world concert environment featuring up to seven stages, line array speaker systems, FOH consoles, large screen monitors and lights. Current manufacturer sponsors include: Aggreko Event Services, DiGiCo, Digidesign, L’Acoustics, Lighthouse Technologies Limited, Meyer Sound, Mobile Stage Rentals, Nexo, Pro Staging, QSC, Stageline, Vari-Lite, Vision Fab and Yamaha Commercial Audio.
