The pre-game for the big game consisted of three concerts from the likes of Dave Matthews Band, Pharrell Williams, and Red Hot Chili Peppers, on three separate nights at Pier 70 concert venue. On the Thursday, Friday, and Saturday before Super Bowl Sunday, Project Nightclub featured concerts in a warehouse, renovated with the top technology to make it an epic visual and sound experience, with production design by Patrick Dierson. The venue fit 9,000 people, with standing room only layout, as well as a lounge and bar with a nightclub atmosphere. The front of the concert structure featured 30,000 sq. ft. of video mapping for exciting visuals. Light Action Productions provided the lighting, video, and audio equipment.
