Disney and Cirque du Soleil are not the only ones in the entertainment industry making use of quadcopter technology, only this time, Base took it up a notch with a hexacopter dubbed the Party Drone.
Base, a mobile operator that offers Spotify Premium for your favorite music anywhere, constructed a hexacopter that houses an amplifier in its carbon case as well as three speakers and an LED light show of moving heads. When people signed up for their music festival tickets, they were asked to add their favorite track to the festival playlist on Spotify. When they picked up their tickets at the festival, they were matched to their favorite songs, which played overhead as the Party Drone accompanied them to the festival to get them pumped up.
