Lighting designers Bob Dickinson and Travis Hagenbuch lit the 90th Oscars, as the Academy Awards were broadcast live from The Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on ABC on Sunday, March 4, with a dazzling array of 350 assorted Philips Vari-Lite fixtures, over 225 Philips Color Kinetics LED fixtures, TMB Solaris Flares, and ARRI Sky Panels in the rig (see full gear list below), adding to the Hollywood glamour of the set designed by Derek McLane and video content by Raj Kapoor, who was also creative director for the production.
