The Eurovision Song Contest will take place on the 7, 9, and 11 of May at the Malmö Arena in Malmö, Sweden. Sweden is no stranger to hosting Eurovision, having hosted the competition six times before. Ola Melzig has even more experience, having been the international event's technical director and head of production for more than a dozen previous contests.
Starting in 2002, Melzig blogged about the preparations for the show, but these days he favors short-form video to let fans and fellow professionals follow the preparations for the world's largest live music event, broadcast to 160 million people in 40 countries.
