Live Design's 2015-16 Products of the Year awards, selected by a panel of industry professionals, were presented, alongside the individual achievement and Excellence Awards, at the Live Design Awards Ceremony on June 13 at Upper Story by Charlie Palmer in New York. At the ceremony, Live Design content director Marian Sandberg presented the Lighting Product of the Year: Software award to ETC Eos Version 2.3 console software, which has created such a buzz in the realm of color control, with one of our judges calling it “just the tip of the iceberg.” Another says, “It turns out that many of us have used color for a long time but don’t really ‘understand’ it and so appreciate help, particularly when it comes to the possibilities of complex multi-emitter LED sources.” David Lincecum of ETC accepted the award. Watch the video of the presentation below, and check out more of what the judges had to say about the product. Learn more about all the evening's winners.
