Rob Milburn and Michael Bodeen have been creating theatre music and sound for over twenty years. Broadway credits include music composition and sound for "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" and "The Speed of Darkness"; music for "My Thing of Love" and sound for "A Year with Frog and Toad", "Ma Rainey's Black Bottom", "Hollywood Arms", "King Hedley II", "Buried Child", "The Song of Jacob Zulu" and "The Grapes of Wrath". Off Broadway credits include music and sound for "After Ashley", "Boy Gets Girl", "Red", "Space" "The Notebooks of Leonardo da Vinci" and "Marvin's Room". Recent projects include original music and sound for "The Bluest Eye" at Hartford Stage and Long Wharf Theatre; "The Crucible" and "The Pillowman" at Steppenwolf Theatre; "Mrs. Packard" at the McCarter Theatre and the Kennedy Center;"Mirror of the Invisible World" and "Vigils" at the Goodman; sound for "Anne Frank" and "The Unmentionables" at Steppenwolf; "The Pain and the Itch" at Playwrights Horizons in NYC; "The Birthday Party" at the McCarter Theatre; the regional tour of Maurice Sendak and Tony Kushner's "Comedy on the Bridge & Brundibar" and original music, music direction and sound for "Life is a Dream" and "The Caucasian Chalk Circle" at South Coast Rep. Regional credits include music and sound at the Arena Stage in D.C., the Guthrie Theatre and the Children’s Theatre in Minneapolis, the Huntington Theatre in Boston, the Public Theatre, Circle in the Square, Second Stage, Minetta Lane Theatre and Union Square Theatre in New York, the Brooklyn Academy of Music, Crossroads Theatre in New Brunswick, the Dallas Theater Center, the La Jolla Playhouse, Rhode Island’s Trinity Rep., Seattle Rep., Arizona Rep., Milwaukee Rep., the Rep. of St. Louis, the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta, the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego, Pittsburgh Public Theater, The Philadelphia Theatre Company, the Mark Taper Forum and the Ahmanson in L.A., the Comedy Theatre in London's West End, The Barbican Center, the National Theatre of Great Britain, the Cameri Theatre in Tel Aviv, the Subaru Acting Company in Japan, and festivals in Toronto, Dublin, Galway, Perth and Sydney. They recently composed music and designed sound for the opening ceremonies of the Amateur International Boxing Association at the Chicago Theatre.
