Sound Works Pro Supports Chicago Women’s March

BUENA PARK, Calif. (January 31, 2018)—On January 20, 2018, in the city of Chicago, 300,000 women and allies continued the fight for women’s rights and social justice holding one of many Women’s March events across the country. Sound Works Productions of Mokena, Illinois was there to provide the sound for the streets and the stage by providing a NEXO GEO S120 line array system.

The front of house stage PA consisted of 16 NEXO GEO S1210 line array speakers, six 4x4 NXAmps, and four NEXO PS10s used for fills. For the six delay towers, Sound Works Pro used four NEXO GEO S1210 speakers per tower with four 4x4 NXAmps (one per tower).

“The Women’s March is an event that comes with the need for a lot of sound reinforcement, but with little time to actually set up,” states Daniel Nickleski, COO/Operations, Sound Works Productions. “From street closures to the event start in just a few hours, and coverage needing to range two full city blocks, we turned to our NEXO GEO S12 line array system for its ease of set up, light weight, and sound quality. Event after event, the GEO S12 has never disappointed us!”
