Evans Audio Visual Staging provided all the elements needed for international hair care company Schwarzkopf to re-launch one of their most popular product ranges, BLONDME, at The Principal Manchester.
Schwarzkopf asked Evans to provide the set, stage, video, lighting and sound for the two-day event, which saw professional hairdressers gather to listen to business summaries, marketing presentations, and live product demos by Peter Marcus Hairdressing, in a bid to motivate and encourage sales. The event also featured a catwalk show as well as an awards ceremony for the delegates who came top in their departments and regions, as well as long service recognition awards for those who had been supporting Schwarzkopf for 15-35 years.
To facilitate the videos, Evans supplied and installed a 10,000 lumen projector with an ultra-short throw mirrored lens, capable of projecting onto the screen at a distance of just 1m, which helped create space in the room for more delegates. The team also supplied an ID24 and IDS sub speaker system from Nexo for the sound, which is the perfect speaker system for a corporate event such as this, thanks to its power and compact size.
Evans also installed a 3.6m high set and screen complete with large format prints which were used to add branding impact. The stage was 6m wide and linked to a catwalk which was customised to fit the room. The team worked with Utopium to illuminate the event using Chauvet Rogue R1 LED Wash lights, Miltec LED battens to up-light the set and two Martin Mac quantum profiles which were placed either side of the stage to add energy to the awards.
Schwarzkopf is now taking the BLONDME range on the road so Evans is getting set to supply a number of larger events in Dublin, Manchester, London and Glasgow.
