ProCo Sound Showcases AoD Output Module at InfoComm 2017

ORLANDO, JUNE 12, 2017 – ProCo Sound, an RHC brand, will debut its latest innovation, the AoD Ouput Module, at InfoComm 2017 (Booth 5155). The module features a Dante® audio input and two channels of analog output from a rugged aluminum extrusion housing.

The AoD Output Modules take audio signals from any Dante Network and provides two analog audio outputs – one RJ45 Dante input using two Neutrik® NC3MXX series XLR analog outputs. Along with the aluminum housing, the modules also contain hand soldered, 3-foot analog audio tails. The uncomplicated design of the equipment allows easy connection to a Dante network and provides studio-quality, low-latency audio via the XLR connectors.

“Our AoD Output Modules will be on display at this year’s InfoComm and we are thrilled to be able to show our customers what it can do with the Dante audio inputs,” says Darius Seabaugh, vice president of marketing for RHC Audio. “One thing that makes this product especially exciting is they are PoE compliant devices and there is no need for batteries or a power supply. These modules are truly plug-n-play.”

The AoD Output Modules use the highest quality D-to-A converts, support a 44.1, 48 and 96 KHZ sample rate, and up to 24-bit depths. The modules use Power over Ethernet (PoE), in which power is supplied through standard Ethernet cable via a PoE capable network switch. Parameters, such as device names, channel labels, signal routing, sample rates and latency can all be configured using the free software, Dante Controller.
