Kinesys to Exhibit at USITT 2017

Motion control specialist and manufacturer Kinesys will exhibit for the first time - in its own right - at a U.S. trade show during the three day USITT 2017 stage expo in St. Louis, March 9th – 11th.

Stand 1404 will focus on two of the leading brand’s most popular product ranges, DigiHoist intelligent motor controllers and the Libra range of load monitoring equipment, as well as highlighting Elevation vari-speed chain hoists which will interest those looking for more advanced automation systems.

David Bond of Kinesys USA comments, “The North American market is currently expanding for us and we want to nurture this growth and reach out to more potential buyers, users and specifiers”.

He thinks that USITT is an ideal environment for meeting a diverse cross section of industry professionals working in the key sectors of theatre, performance, and the arts as well as a variety of venues. “First-hand communication is always invaluable, and our high expectations of what the USITT expo can deliver is based on thorough research,” he affirms.

While Kinesys is already well established in the concert touring and production rental segments, Bond believes that USITT attracts the perfect demographic to introduce the Kinesys brand to venue operation and creative theatrical professionals and students alike.

The Kinesys booth will feature a truss structure similar to one of the training rigs set up at Kinesys USA’s HQ in Atlanta. The intention is to show a selection of physical products ‘in-situ’ which is much more interesting and informative than just offering literature or a rolling video format.

“Having our equipment on show and some of the factory staff on hand is an important part of the profile raising process. We are proud of the products and customer support we offer our clientele,” explains David, who hopes to meet technicians, venue managers and companies who are maybe not yet fully acquainted of the brand … but for whom Kinesys can offer a variety of flexible, practical and - most importantly - safe solutions.

In particular the intention is to build on the success of the DigiHoist range of products which have been a popular choice for venues in the U.S. and abroad. These venues include multi-purpose performance spaces, sports arenas, houses of worship and more. The increase in the use of Kinesys automated controls clearly shows a demand for systems that are programmable, safe, accurate, user-friendly and robust.

David will also take the opportunity to underline Kinesys’ renowned commitment to training and product awareness which is integral to the manufacturing operation and its carefully crafted support infrastructure.

He sees USITT as a chance to show potential clients that Kinesys is well established in the North America market and how great products and support, combined with enhancing users’ knowledge though learning initiatives can support the performing arts segment.

David also feels that the buzz of the USITT Conference, which runs concurrently with the stage expo, offers a more learning-friendly ambience and is a great forum for interacting and networking.
