Mountain Productions, Inc., a global leader in staging and entertainment event production, announced today that Ricky Rose has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer. Rose is an owner of the company and previously served as a staging supervisor and as Director of International Development, where he established a European division based in Dublin, Ireland.

As Director of International Development, he successfully built a network of transnational partners and clients, setting the stage for Mountain’s success in a global market and widening the impact of the company’s e-commerce efforts and brand recognition. Rose received a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from the prestigious Florida State University’s College of Motion Picture Arts and an MBA from Trinity College Dublin, where he consulted for the multi-national Swedish Telecom, Ericsson.

“Ricky Rose’s diverse background across film, music and technology will be an excellent complement to our established leadership team. He will be a driving force for our company’s continual growth, not just as the leading staging company in North America, but as an authority in product development, manufacturing, e-commerce and full-service creative production solutions for our industry,” said Mountain Productions Chairman and President, Ronald W. Simms.

Rose’s experience has covered a span of independent and studio roles from working on the feature-length documentary, Kids For Cash, with Academy Award-winning producer, Robert May, to a stint at the renowned production house, Digital Domain. He went on to co-found Rose Transmedia, a creative production house that specializes in film content and marketing for the music industry. With a passion for entrepreneurship, Rose served in marketing and operational capacities at the industrial b2b e-commerce pioneer, The PSC Online Stores. He currently serves on the boards of Mountain Productions, Petroleum Service Company and the Irish International Business Network (IIBN).

“My family has owned and guided Mountain Productions for over 30 years and it is an honor to work with our existing leadership team made up of industry veterans who have been at the company since the beginning,” said Rose. “It is that foundation of talented personnel as well as the most robust and well-maintained systems and facilities that allows us to focus on our aggressive expansion into the West Coast market and abroad.”
