Bassmaster Classic At Minute Maid Park Features 32’ x 22’ LED Wall From Upstage Video

Houston, TX – April 3, 2017 – It’s every anglers dream to compete in The “Super Bowl of Bass Fishing,” otherwise known as The Bassmaster Classic. Professional bass anglers from all over the world convened on Lake Conroe from March 24th- 26th, 2017 for a 3-day fishing competition to earn the top spot including a $300,000 cash prize and an international world title. At the conclusion of each day, contestants and their fish returned to Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas for weigh in. All fish are required to meet a minimum length of 12 inches, must be alive at the time of weigh in and must be released back into the lake. The entire event, from the lake to weigh in festivities received hours of televised coverage from multiple sports networks including ESPN.

For the first time in the competition’s 47-year history, the world championship of bass fishing was held in Houston, TX. This year, a large stage was erected in left field at Minute Maid Park including Upstage Video’s 32’x 22’ LED screen comprised of 193 ROE 7mm tiles. The top of the screen replicated Houston’s city skyline. The company recently added D3 2x4 pro’s to their media server inventory. The D3s were deployed as the primary playback and control systems for the screens.

“We appreciate the opportunity to work with entire team at Production Support Group and look forward to the event, year after year,” says Brian Tyson, National Sales Director of Upstage Video.
