Another Notch On The Belt For Real Time Pioneers

Experienced marketer joins Notch to help creators build mind-blowing interactive experiences in real time.

Notch announced two key appointments today as they continue to grow on the back of powering content creation and interactivity for the world’s biggest artists, brands and events - including U2 and Beyoncé.

Mark Jennings, whose first love affair was his Commodore Amiga 500 joins as Head of Marketing. Mark bring 20 years experience in on and offline marketing, a huge passion for visual arts and a drive to see Notch help connect content creators to their work in a whole new, but powerfully familiar way.

Mark said “Notch has a great track record underpinning the world’s most cherished live events and experiences, and this will always be at the heart of who we are, but we’re also seeing creative pioneers enjoy a more rewarding workflow across the whole motion graphics space, and even VR. I look forward to meeting Notch users around the world and introducing more people to the power of real time”.

Armin Kazlauskas also joins as their first Product Specialist. Armin will look after on & offline support, training and creative content creation.

Armin started as an underground VJ six years ago, progressing to professional live event and tv broadcast environments, working as a freelance motion grapher and visual artist. He joins Notch from Mediatec Solutions Norway.

“Notch is the next big thing in motion graphics. I was determined to be a part of the team that is constantly breaking new grounds in live generated motion graphics and VR."

Luke Malcolm, Director at Notch said “Since our public launch in September, the uptake has been phenomenal with users pushing the boundaries on everything from live music like U2, P!NK, Bruno Mars, through to installations for Rag and Bone and Intel. Core to all of this is having a team at Notch HQ who can support the designers and studios making this happen. Armin and Mark join at an exciting time and bring a wealth of real world experience to give that exact support. And it’s not stopping there. We’ve got more news in the coming months.”
