White with hints of colour on the d&b stand 1N28 and demo lounge E103 at ISE 2012

Time to take a stand and defend the currency of audio endeavour? Well maybe not; while the complexities of amplified sound might baffle the dull witted global economist, for the d&b audiotechnik user the choice is often as simple as black or white.

On display at Stand 1N28 d&b audiotechnik will give pride of place to elements of its xS and xA-Series of loudspeakers from their White product range. The 4S, 5S and 8S are designed specifically as stand-alone two-way full range loudspeakers for the permanent installation market and can be supported by the dedicated little 12S subwoofer which will also be on display. All these loudspeakers were originally only available in black as standard or specially ordered coloured to match venue interiors, however being typically d&b, all these little White range cabinets are now also available in white as standard. Alongside these will be the larger 10S and 12S loudspeakers plus a three cabinet array of the 10A line array loudspeaker from the xA-Series.

For those who find hearing is believing, room E103 has been taken by d&b so that visitors can not only participate in the System integration presentation that takes place several times each day but also within these enjoy a stereo listening experience of all combinations of the xS and xA-Series loudspeakers. This room, which was also used last year, will provide a comfortable lounging environment for all d&b visitors.

The System integration presentation and listening session will take place on the following days at the specified times.

Proper direct sound management is no secret, but a key factor in creating a well-behaved solution. For sixty minutes, Janko will guide listeners on a journey to good sound system design, offering some easy to understand techniques and examples, as well as unveiling some common myths along the way.

Whilst the System integration presentation in the demo lounge is free to attend, attendance to The Secret of a Good Sound System Design hosted by InfoComm International will be charged to visitors as follows: non member: 80 €; member 60 €; EduBucks 45 €.
