Cirque du Soleil's 10th resident show, and 7th in Las Vegas, opened on Friday, February 19. Based on the music and life of Elvis Presley, this new show—VIVA ELVIS! at the new City Center complex—puts the King of rock'n roll on one of the biggest stages anywhere, covering 166,000 square feet with 17 stage lifts, seven trampolines, pyro, projections, 75 performers, over 100 technicians, and props ranging from a pink Cadillac to a giant blue suede shoe. Not to mention a 90,000-pound set for Jail House Rock! Auerbach Auerbach Pollock Friedlander served as theatre consultants.
