The Sweetness of Giving

Rose Brand has entered into a retail partnership agreement to benefit the Young Survival Coalition, the premier international organization dedicated to the critical issues unique to young women and breast cancer. Rose Brand joins other retailers like Oakley, Mikimoto and Hersey Company among others that donate all or part of the sale of specific products to YSC.

10% of the sales of Rose Brand's Party Knit fabric in Baby Pink, Neon Pink and Fuchsia Pink will be donated to the Young Survival Coalition. George Jacobstein, President of Rose Brand, states “This latest partnership continues our long history of philanthropic partnerships. We are dedicated to providing support with-in our industry and pleased to be able to provide this type of support to YSC”. Over the years, Rose Brand has donated to Broadway Cares, Equity Fights AIDS, ESTA Behind the Scenes Foundation, The Long Reach Long Riders Event as well as many other causes.

Peter Finder, VP of Marketing and Josh Jacobstein, Director of Sales will both ride in the 2009 “Hershey's Tour de Pink” bike ride taking place October 2-5, 2009. The ride begins at Chocolate World in Hershey, PA. finishing 227 miles down the road in Clinton, N.J.

Peter Finder is an active supporter of the YSC, and Rose Brand is one of the “Hersey's Tour de Pink's” biggest sponsors. Peter dedicates his rides to his wife Cindy Rubin and all of the gutsy women of the YSC. Cindy is a seven-year breast cancer survivor as well as founding member and former president of the Young Survival Coalition
