Showlogix Has Launched a Software Image Scaler with Geometry Correction and Edge Blending

Software Image Scaler with Geometry Correction and Edge BlendingImage Warp provides AV professionals with the ability to correct off-axis projector placement, including projection onto curved, cylindrical, spherical or any irregular surface. Image warp can be used to drive one display or multi-projector array, thanks to its soft edge capabilities.

Showlogix, a leader in show and media control software, announced that it has released Image Warp, a high performance software image scaler with Geometry Correction and Edge Blending capabilities. It can take any input from a hardware capture card and output in to any format and resolution.

Image Warp supports two parallel inputs, allowing two video images to be displayed on a single display in different windows.

By using Datapath's Vision RGB-E2s capture card, Image Warp transfers the data directly to any supported consumer graphics card. This fully utilizes the hardware, delivering extremely fast image processing with geometry corrections and edge blending, all with a latency of less then 30 mS.

As many as 255 units can be controlled from one computer. 32 user defined layouts are available to customize settings for various situations; Layouts may be saved and recalled instantly by using the Logix-4D Manager.

Image warp can also be used as a Seamless Switcher, enabling the user to switch between the two inputs with instantaneous cuts or fades.

Image warp can be downloaded from the Showlogix web site
