In order to better serve the live sporting event market Reel Video Systems has added Daktronics timing and scoring equipment to their inventory. With the addition of the Daktronics All Sport® 5000 and the Show Control System RVS is now fully equipped to integrate live timing and scoring into the video system for any sporting event.
“This addition is all part of our commitment to provide true turnkey event video production for our clients,” shares Andy Gerber, Visual Displays Manager at Reel Video. “Not only are we able to integrate existing timing and scoring data systems, but with the All Sport we can provide timing and scoring capabilities from top to bottom.”
The All Sport® 5000 Scoreboard controller is built to handle timing and scoring for baseball, basketball, football, hockey, soccer, tennis, track, wrestling, volleyball, martial arts, boxing, cricket, and water polo. Venues with existing timing and scoring systems, such as Colorado Time Systems or Omega Timing, transmit data to RVS via real time data (RTD) and enhanced real time data (ERTD) for integration with a video display system. For instance, timing and scoring data for a swimming meet can be displayed at the bottom of the IMAG screens while simultaneously appearing on the LED band board around the pool.
