Ramzi Shakra has recently joined Electrosonic Inc. as Senior Marketing Manager. He will be in charge of the Marketing effort in the USA and also supporting the rest of Electrosonic Group worldwide. Formerly marketing director of Doremi Labs, he has extensive experience in the strategic positioning and management of high-technology products.

"Ramzi will be reporting directly to me and we will be working together to clarify and communicate the Electrosonic Brand message worldwide. "
Ramzi Shakra brings over 17 years of marketing experience in the pro-AV and broadcast markets to Electrosonic. He graduated from California State University Northridge with a degree in marketing and was awarded an MBA from the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business.
He spent more than seven years at Doremi Labs, Inc. and Doremi Cinema LLC as Marketing Director where he was in charge of marketing the company's entire product line, which includes videodisk recorders, digital cinema servers, MPEG2 HD video players and encoders. In addition, he had sales support and product development responsibility and was instrumental in the launch of Doremi's digital cinema product line that established the company as the worlds leading cinema server and cinema mastering manufacturer.
He earlier served for five years as marketing manager at Visual Matrix Corp. (formerly VAS. Group, Inc.). There he was responsible for the marketing of the company's scan converter and HD video converter products and led the marketing effort which helped establish VAS's HD downconverter as a market leader for HDTV mastering.
