Pete's Big TVs Visually Boost CBS Upfront

imag0259web.jpg imag0258web.jpgHow do you get to Carnegie Hall? Pete's Big TVs/Performance Video got there recently because they've had lots of practice doing TV upfronts.

An upfront is a TV network presentation of the upcoming fall season of shows. It gives advertisers the chance to pledge their ad support ahead of time, and the media gets a preview of what's premiering in the new season.

For the CBS Upfront May 18 in New York, PBTV/PV provided a video package that included Barco 10mm LED walls to display all content from CBS, including station and show logos plus visual clips of the new season previews. Actors were also on hand, including Ashton Kutcher's introduction to the media in his new role on “Two and a Half Men.”

PBTV/PV crew, headed by Guy Benjamin, included Matt Ellar and Rob Maloney. The crew worked with the creative team of production designer Bruce Rodgers of Tribe and LD Mike Baldassari.

Says Rodgers, “Pete's Big TVs helped pull off a great show with a difficult schedule and technical challenges.”
