Pangolin Laser Systems Inc.; the world’s leading provider of laser light show control software and hardware for the entertainment industry, was recently honored at the 2012 International Laser Display Association (ILDA) Conference, where the company and their client’s took home an overwhelming forty percent of the total awards given out this year.
ILDA is currently the world’s leading trade organization for the laser display and entertainment industry, and an ILDA Award is considered by many to be the most prestigious award given in this field. In many ways, an ILDA Award is “the Oscar” for the laser light show industry. Pangolin Laser Systems Inc. received two ILDA awards for technical achievement at this year’s conference taking home a first place ILDA Technical Achievement Award for their revolutionary new Safety Scan Lenses, which help ensure audience-scanning laser light shows are safe but still visually-impactful (http://www.pangolin.com/SafetyScanLens/). These awards were given in a variety of different categories, including laser graphic and abstract shows, beams and screen shows, nightclub and festival shows, live stage shows, laser used in video/film, innovative applications, and laser photography.
