Musicians Applaud New Alice Tully Hall Acoustics

If you haven't already read the review, of sorts, of the acoustics at Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hally article on nytimes.com, check it out. It says, in part, "With giddiness and glee, musicians tested the acoustics of the newly renovated Alice Tully Hall on Tuesday," and "The musicians, acoustical experts and Lincoln Center officials in attendance all proclaimed the hall much more present, alive and reverberant than the old Tully, which had been widely faulted for its dry sound.

Kudos to JaffeHolden (you've read Mark Holden's musings in our pages and here on our site) who were the acousticians on the renovation. Stay tuned for our full coverage of the renovation, coming soon.
