LDI 2012 attendees experience 16,000 lumens of dazzling imagery

news_ldi_2012_02_1012.jpg Atlanta, GeorgiaDigital Projection International (DPI) and booth partner AV Stumpfl USA displayed two-piece live-entertainment solutions at the recent Live Design International (LDI) tradeshow and conference for live design professionals in North and South America. From October 19-21, 2012 in Las Vegas, LDI attendees witnessed astoundingly bright, color accurate imagery on a 9' x 12' AV Stumpfl professional screen, courtesy of the 16,000 lumen TITAN Quad WUXGA 3D projector.

LDI’s pre-show estimates expected over 8,000 attendees working in theater, concerts, houses of worship, corporate presentations, clubs, theme parks, and other live venues to attend from over 70 countries. Additionally, per LDI’s estimates, more than 300 exhibiting companies were expected to engage attendees with live demos and face-to-face discussions about a multitude of lighting, sound, projection and special effects equipment on display.

Frank Genovese, DPI’s rental & staging manager, and Paul Gomes, DPI’s pacific southwest sales manager, demonstrated the TITAN Quad throughout the three-day event. Stagers, designers and end-users alike from live event-oriented industries such as theater, corporate events, indoor entertainment facilities, museums and the hospitality industry took the time to experience the TITAN Quad in action.
