LD Jennifer Tipton Hailed in The New York Times

Lighting designer Jennifer Tipton was praised in The New York Times last week for her lighting of dance production Necessary Weather at Baryshnikov Arts Center:

At one moment in the hourlong Necessary Weather, Sara Rudner and Dana Reitz are dancing simultaneous solos, each in a separate pool of light created by Jennifer Tipton. Even if you disliked dance, the show — a revival of a 1994 collaboration by these three women at the Baryshnikov Arts Center — would be worth seeing for Ms. Tipton's astounding contribution; and even if you already knew from many other productions that Ms. Tipton has long been the world's most remarkable creator of lighting for dance, you haven't seen her most miraculous ideas until you've seen Necessary Weather.
