PLASA 08 saw the successful launch of Litestructures LiteConsole; Litestructures was commissioned by headline DJ Paul Oakenfold to design and build a special touring DJ Console to highlight Oakenfold's stage presence. The unique LiteConsole has travelled around the world following Paul Oakenfold's tour dates with Madonna. Since then, LiteConsole has become a standard product in the Litestructures portfolio and Event organisers Kudos are the latest company to add the system to their already impressive inventory.
Following the success of Paul Oakenfold's console, DJ “H”, Kudos Managing Director approached Litestructures to make a LiteConsole for their many events throughout the year. The console, entirely made of aluminium frames fitted with easy-to-connect diabond sheets measures 4m long for 1m wide and 1.2m high – ideal for stage presence. The front of the console is made especially to house 2 x 50” plasma screens. The LiteConsole is fully modular, lightweight and easy to build and transport.
DJ “H” comments: “After seeing what Litestructures could do with Paul Oakenfold's DJ console, we thought this concept was the solution for us. Being an event organiser, we not only need impact, presence on stage for any performances we pull off but we also need modularity and easily transportable items - LiteConsole does just that. We are pleased with the result and were impressed by Litestructures professionalism and creative visions.”
LiteConsole by Litestructures represents an innovative, portable and high visual impact solution for corporate presentations and live performances. They can be used as musician/DJ/production work surfaces. They can be used as eye-catching information booths at trade shows and exhibitions. They can be used for TV/video recording projects.
