JCALPRO, a premier, full-service production company, specializing in labor and equipment for rigging, lighting, and a variety of production support services, announced today that it provided all of the setup and rigging labor for the production aspects of “Wheel of Fortune's” Boston themed episodes.

JCALPRO also provided rigging support equipment, such as aerial lifts and hardware, and had operators covering various positions during taping, including projection, lighting board. The shows, taped in Boston, at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center, air from November 2- 20, 2009, on WBZ-TV at 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. JCALPRO is the exclusive rigging company for the BCEC.

“We were really excited to work alongside the Wheel of Fortune crew on setting this fun event in Boston!” said Jimmy Callanan, President & CEO, JCALPRO. “Wheel of Fortune also showed great support of local union labor, by contracting us to provide all of their set up and ancillary production support.”

WBZ plans to air three weeks worth of Boston-themed episodes of “Wheel of Fortune,” which filmed a total of 15 shows at the BCEC, from September 3-5. Nationally, “Wheel of Fortune,” is the highest-rated syndicated show, followed by “Jeopardy!”

“No matter how much time is put into pre-production planning by me and my team, if the local crews hired to perform the work are not both qualified and hard working, all our efforts are wasted”, said Bob Sofia Coordinating Producer and Technical Supervisor, Wheel of Fortune/Jeopardy! “JCALPRO's crews were amongst the best we have had all across the country.”
