Burbank, CA (June 9, 2009) - Visit Electrosonic's booth# 4719 at InfoComm for new product introductions and a demonstration of video & graphics distribution over IP networks with virtual switching. Electrosonic's line of HD video players and a new multi-image display processor will also be on display.

Step into the Electrosonic booth to view a demonstration of video & graphics distribution

over IP networks with virtual switching. This remarkable new technology replaces RGB and video matrix switchers with a single easy-to-use, expandable solution. Electrosonic booth staff will show how all audio and visual media can be delivered via multicast in real-time over a single IP network. Eletrosonic's virtual switching technology allows you to route your media anywhere in your facility.

At InfoComm, Electrosonic will announce new low cost DVI / RGB over IP encoders and decoders. This brand new ES6000 series product facilitates the transmission of graphics sources across IP networks and is specifically designed for pro-AV applications.

To learn more about IP networks and AV attend the InfoComm session presented by Electrosonic Group Founder Director Robert Simpson. He will present the session “The Transport of High Resolution Images Over Networks” in room W311B on Wednesday, June 17th (10:30AM-12:00PM).

Mr. Simpson will cover how standard Ethernet computer networks can be used for carrying electronic images, how image compression works, and what the standard and proprietary methods of encoding are. Attendees will learn about many applications using networked distribution of images, including some whose needs are not met by existing standards.

Also at the booth will be the world debut of Electrosonic's VN-Quantum Connect multi-image display processor that can integrate and scale video and graphic images onto single or multiple displays

Designed exclusively for directly connected sources (including RGB, DVI, composite and S-Video), it sets a new price / performance bar for image processors. It supports a wide variety of input and output combinations while retaining unmatched source image details at full image frame rates. Up to 128 windows can be sized and placed anywhere across multiple displays via the easy to use control software. The VN-Quantum Connect can be used in visualization and command and control applications such as security and surveillance, military, utilities and traffic monitoring, and network operation centers.

Over 30,000 visitors from A/V systems integration, technical/engineering, design and sales/distribution will be attending InfoComm 09, so see you there!
