In his new role, Song will leverage his background in the management and sale of professional broadcast and A/V equipment to maintain Clear-Com's current trend of accelerating growth in Southeast Asia. He will travel frequently throughout his region, promoting the benefits of Clear-Com intercom solutions to prospective customers, as well as regularly engaging with current customers to ensure their satisfaction. He will also manage and work to increase the company's distributor and systems integrator relationships in the region.

"It is an honour to join the ranks of Clear-Com, known worldwide for its innovative intercom solutions, impeccable customer service and commitment to quality," says Song. "As the Southeast Asia RSM, I will work to uphold this sterling reputation - educating customers on the benefits Clear-Com intercoms can offer their facilities, working hands-on with distributors and systems integrators to make sure they fully understand the value Clear-Com products bring to the table and, ultimately, increasing the company's customer base across the region."

Song joins Clear-Com from 1-2-1View, a Singapore-based vendor of digital signage and audience measurement solutions. There, as Regional Sales Manager, Song was put in charge of growing the Asia Pacific (APAC) market. He achieved this, building up solid distribution channels for the company throughout the region. Prior to this role, he was the Regional Sales Engineer for Pro-Bel Asia Pacific, responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities in the region to help increase the company's revenue and brand awareness. Song has also held positions at One-Connect International, a manufacturer of RF materials and telecommunications equipment for telecommunication and network infrastructures in Southeast Asia, the systems integrator Electro-Acoustic Systems and the Singapore Turf Club, a horse-race and gaming venue.

"Adding Edmund to our Southeast Asia team is a strategic move to guarantee that our current and potential customers there continue to receive localized, on-the-ground sales support," says Bob Boster, Director of Americas and Asia-Pacific Sales, Clear-Com Communication Systems. "His proven sales and management track record, combined with his comprehensive understanding and knowledge of the region, make him an invaluable asset to the company. We're thrilled to have him join the team."
