Now is your chance to apply for ETC's famed LDI Student Sponsorship! Graduate students and senior undergrads studying lighting design, theater technology or a related field are eligible to win one of the open spots to attend the 2011 LDI tradeshow, October 28-30th, in Orlando, Florida.
ETC made it even easier to apply this year, putting the application online at www.etcconnect.com/LDI-2011. You can fill out the application electronically, or print it out and mail it in to ETC. The deadline to apply is May 6th, 2011.
The all-expense-paid trip is a great way to gain experience, see the inner-workings of the lighting industry and do some networking. ETC covers the costs of round-trip airfare, hotel accommodations, meals, LDI conference passes, and exclusive swag, and hosts a student reception where you can meet industry luminaries – lighting designers, educators, consultants, journalists, and employers – and connect with peers. During show hours, you will get a behind-the-curtain look at ETC and its newest innovations, and a front-row seat to the latest developments in entertainment technology.
For more information about the tradeshow, visit the LDI website at www.ldishow.com.
