LOS ANGELES – (For Immediate Release) – American DJ has unveiled the battery-powered Jelly Go Par64, a glowing LED lighting fixture that lets DJs, bands and mobile entertainers create intensely bright color washes entirely free from the constraints of cords, plugs or power connections. The highly mobile 2-in-1 effect offers the creativity of smooth RGB color mixing plus total freedom to set it up wherever you go, regardless of your proximity of electrical outlets.
Featuring a built-in lithium battery, the Jelly Go Par64 will run up to 8 hours of full operation from a single charge. The fixture even includes a battery life indicator on the rear DMX menu that shows how much of the battery charge remains at any given time. That means you’ll never have to worry about suddenly running out of juice during a performance.
The newest member of American DJ’s popular Jelly Series, the dual-effect Jelly Go Par64 is encased in transparent housing that glows in the dark like a jellyfish. Its unique see-through case makes it 2 effects in one: 1) it’s an RGB wash powered by 176 (58 red, 60 green, 58 blue) 10mm LEDs that casts vibrant colors on walls, stages and other surfaces, and 2) its translucent case produces a stunning effect itself, resembling a jewel-like orb that draws the eye with its radiant, colorful aura.
Adding to the Jelly Go Par64’s go-anywhere flexibility is its low-profile “sit-flat” design, which gives it the versatility to be used in a wide range of applications. This design, exclusive to American DJ, features all power and DMX Ins/Outs mounted on the side of the unit, not on the back like traditional pars and color washes. This intelligent layout allows the fixture to sit flat on any surface—like the floor of a venue, a tabletop or stage platform – making it great for uplighting, one of today’s hottest lighting trends. The Jelly Go Par64 can also be placed directly inside truss with no scissor yoke for illuminating stage trussing at concerts, theatrical productions and corporate presentations.
Wherever it’s used, the Jelly Go Par64 can be controlled remotely and wirelessly – another mobility-enhancing feature. Each unit comes with American DJ’s ADJ LED RC Infrared Remote Control included at no extra charge, allowing wireless control from distances of up to 30 feet (10m).

The Jelly Go Par64 features 5 operational modes: Auto (Program Run) Mode; Sound Active Mode; RGB Manual Control Mode; Static Color Mode; and DMX-512 Mode. There are 7 DMX modes (1, 2 3 4, 5 6 & 7-channel) for a wide variety of programming options, effects possibilities and levels of control. Multiple Jelly Go Par64s—up to 30 units—can be linked together via 3-pin XLR cables, and each one can be daisy-chained to the next thanks to the IEC power inputs and outputs located on the side of each unit.
Other professional features of the Jelly Go Par64 include a 30-degree beam angle, 32 built-in color macros, 4-button LED menu for easy navigation, flicker-free operation, LED pulse and strobe effect, electronic dimming from 0–100 percent and multi-voltage operation (AC 100V/60Hz–240V/50Hz).
The Jelly Go Par64’s powerful, cool-running LEDs make it especially suitable for use on stage, as it won’t emit noticeable heat onto musicians or actors and doesn’t require a duty cycle. Each of the unit’s long-life LEDs is rated at 50,000 hours, so there’s never any need for bulb replacements.
Weighing just 5 lbs. (2.2kg), the Jelly Go Par64 offers ultimate mobility when it comes to transport, too. The unit measures 10.5 L x 10.25”W x 4.5”H (262 x 260 x 110mm).

The Jelly Go Par64 can fit into the Arriba Cases models 115 and 117 protective bags, which offer a lightweight, affordable solution for transporting the unit and keep it free of dust and dirt when not in use.
