Leading UK flightcase manufacturer 5 Star kicks off 2009 with the launch of its new “Arena” range of general purpose road trunks.
Arena has been designed to provide the usual top quality 5 Star construction combined with a tough specification suitable for road use – in addition to being carefully value-engineered to alleviate any strains on the finances.
Simon Edwards, 5 Star's Head of Technical Design says, “The current economic climate means we have to be as flexible as possible, offering a good range of options that won't break the bank whilst also not compromising on basic fundamental principals like quality”.
Featuring a durable ply carcass with smart High Pressure Laminate (HPL) finishing, the Arena range is constructed using 5 Star's regular glue-and-pin method and finished with the usual superior quality Penn-Elcom hardware.
Arena is available from stock in black, or to order in any of 5 Star's standard range of colours, including Navy Blue, Royal Blue, Light Grey, Mid Green, Yellow and Red.
Three standard sizes are available, the Arena 600, 900 and 1200. Each size coming complete with divider rails and partitions.
The dividers can be positioned at 25mm intervals, providing a versatile compartment system for the sensible price. A new 100mm deep tray, devised specifically for this trunk range, is also available.
Optional extras include additional dividers, the 100mm deep trays, PAL label dishes, stacking castor cups and screen printed logos.
Arena is already proving a popular addition to 5 Star's wide variety of cases. So much so, that the Arena spec is being extended into other case types and ranges, including 19” Racks and Universal Plasma and LCD display cases.
