National World War One Memorial Museum Opens

Lighting Services Inc.(LSI) is pleased to announce their participation in the newly opened National World War One Memorial Museum. Officially opened on Saturday, December 2, 2006 and located at the Liberty Memorial in Kansas City, MO, the museum is acknowledged as the only public museum in the US dedicated solely to the history of World War One.

The museum’s collection began immediately after the armistice of November 11, 1918. A group from Kansas City gathered to propose a memorial to the men and women who served in the war and to those who died. Since then, the museum has remained faithful to the initial objective: to collect, preserve, and interpret the physical objects of World War One.

LSI products installed in the museum include Surface Track System, 260 Series and 238 Series Accent Lights, and QM500 Series and Q400 Series Wall Washers.
